Partnerships
Eye to Eye Foundation (ETEF) was born on a Tro-Tro (bus) in Ghana during the summer of 2009. While winding through the empty dirt roads between Accra and the Volta region, the founders of ETEF discussed the many parallels between the difficult conditions faced by the local impoverished Ghanaian children and those of the United States, particularly regarding the lacking access to educational resources. From this insight, the mission of ETEF has been to assist educational programs in needy communities, to foster cross-cultural communication between Ghanaian youth and youth around the world: to enable them to share their struggles, ideas, creative solutions, and to encourage one another to pursue individual and communal goals through creative academic programs. ETEF is based in the United States, with members working both domestically and on the ground in Ghana.

Eye to Eye Foundation facilitates cross cultural communication between impoverished communities throughout the world and, in doing so, provides under-privileged populations with access to creative academic opportunities and basic educational resources (i.e. classroom space, books, teachers, etc.). In the long-term, our mission is to partner with small communities in order to create sustainable, community-driven educational institutions with the goal of promoting social mobility for disadvantaged individuals.
Education for Empowerment.
Orphans of Ghana
Eye to Eye Foundation works closely with our sister organization, Orphans of Ghana of the United Kingdom. Orphans of Ghana provides basic life necessities and support infrastructure, including nutritious food, clean water, health care coverage, and ample living space to the orphanages and community centers with which ETEF works. Together, we are able to provide the children and communities we serve the opportunity for education and social mobility.
